Cookie Policy
Last updated 21 August 2026
The short version
- We use a small number of cookies and similar technologies, mainly for advertising and for measuring how the site is used.
- The site also remembers the country you pick, so you do not have to choose it again. That is stored on your own device.
- Advertising and measurement only run where you have allowed them, or where consent is not required in your country.
- You can change your mind at any time, through our consent tool or your browser settings.
- Blocking cookies will not stop you searching for jobs. The site works either way.
1. About this policy
This policy explains the cookies and similar technologies used on jobs.reward.land, what they do, and how you can control them. It sits alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains more broadly what we do with personal data.
The site is operated by Avertago ApS, CVR DK45105865, Sandkaj 21, st. th., 2150 Nordhavn, Denmark.
2. What cookies and similar technologies are
A cookie is a small text file that a website asks your browser to store, and that the browser sends back on later visits. Cookies are what allow a site to recognise a returning browser, remember a setting, or count a visit.
Other technologies do similar jobs. Local storage keeps information in your browser but, unlike a cookie, is never automatically sent to a server. Pixels are tiny invisible images used to register that a page or an advert was loaded. Where this policy says "cookies", it covers all of these.
3. A short note on what this site is
jobs.reward.land has no accounts, no logins, and no sign-up. You never tell us who you are in order to search. That means the cookies here are not used to build a profile of you as a named person, and there is no login cookie or session to manage.
What cookies are used for is advertising, measurement, remembering your consent choice, and remembering the country you picked.
4. The categories we use
The technologies on the site fall into four groups:
- 4.1Strictly necessary. Needed for the site to work and to stay secure, and to record the consent choice you made so we do not ask again on every page. These do not require consent.
- 4.2Preferences. Remember a choice you made, such as your country. They make the site more convenient and are stored on your device.
- 4.3Measurement. Tell us in aggregate how many people used the site, which pages they reached, and where something is broken. We use this to improve the service.
- 4.4Advertising. Used by advertising partners to select adverts, limit how often the same advert is shown, and measure whether it worked.
5. What is actually set
The exact names and lifetimes are set by the providers and can change without notice. The table below is generated automatically by our consent tool, and it covers the cookies used across the reward.land family of sites — so not everything in it is set on this one.
Two things this site stores are not in it, because they are kept in your browser’s local storage rather than as cookies: jl_country and jr_country. They hold nothing but a two letter country code that you chose yourself. They are never sent anywhere, and clearing your browser data removes them.
6. Advertising in more detail
Advertising is what keeps the site free to use. Adverts on the site are served by Google through AdSense, together with Google's advertising partners.
Depending on your choices and on where you are, adverts may be personalised, meaning they are selected using data collected about your browsing across different websites, or non-personalised, meaning they are selected using only general context such as the page you are on and your approximate general location. Non-personalised adverts still use cookies for frequency capping and measurement, and for fraud prevention.
Google acts as an independent controller for the data it collects through advertising. How Google uses information from sites that use its services is described in Google's own privacy documentation, and you can adjust the adverts Google shows you through Google's advertising settings.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not pass your search answers to advertisers for their own use.
7. Measurement
We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used — how many people arrive, which pages they reach, and where the site fails. The reporting we look at is aggregate. We do not use it to identify individuals, and since there are no accounts, we could not connect it to a named person in any case.
8. Where consent applies
Rules on cookies differ by country. In the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, consent is required before non-essential cookies may be set, and you will be asked through our consent tool before advertising or measurement runs.
In other countries the requirement may be different, and adverts and measurement may run without a prior prompt where local law permits it. Wherever you are, you can still control cookies through your browser, and you can still opt out of personalised advertising through Google's advertising settings.
9. How to control cookies
You have several independent controls:
- 9.1Our consent tool. Where it is shown, you can accept or refuse categories, and reopen it later to change your mind.
- 9.2Your browser. Every major browser lets you block or delete cookies, block third-party cookies specifically, or clear site data. Look for Privacy or Site Settings.
- 9.3Private browsing. An incognito or private window discards cookies and local storage when you close it.
- 9.4Google's advertising settings. Google provides its own controls for turning off ad personalisation across the sites that use its advertising services.
- 9.5Clearing site data removes the stored country preferences described above, and the site will simply ask again.
Blocking cookies does not lock you out. The questions, the results, the country picker, and every job link keep working. You may simply be asked for your country again, and any adverts you see will be less relevant.
10. Do Not Track
There is no agreed industry standard for how sites should respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals, and the site does not currently respond to them. The controls described in section 9 are effective and we would encourage you to use those instead.
11. Other sites you reach from here
When you click a job listing, a local job board, or an advert, you leave this site. Those sites set their own cookies under their own policies, which we neither control nor monitor.
Consent choices you make here do not carry across to them. If you want to know what they set, their own cookie policies are the place to look.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the site, its providers, or the law change. The current version is always shown here with the date it was last updated. Because providers can change cookie names and lifetimes at any time, treat the table in section 5 as a description rather than a guarantee.
13. Contact
